Just about mint condition folding stock Chinese factory 66 manufactured Barr Armsmaker registered Type 56 (AK-47) with folding stock, no bayonet. Includes three 30 round magazines, one 75 round drum and an original web sling. Marked on left side of receiver with triangle around “66” logo and “56S” serial number prefix, this gun was originally manufactured in 1969 and has Chinese selector markings. Barr Armsmaker information on underside of receiver. Bolt and operating piston matches receiver serial number. The folding stock AK-47 style weapons, regardless of maker, are among the most sought after of the modern Vietnam era machine guns. They are a piece of our military history as well as great recreational machine guns at the range. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near excellent deep lustrous refinish upon remanufacture. Typical line where safety/selector rides on the receiver and perhaps a handling mark or two. Wood and composite furnishings also near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt face is near excellent. This is a select fire machine gun.
