Lot consists of: (A) SA dagger, (B) Luftwaffe aircrew gravity knife, (C) and (D) Wehrmacht dress bayonets, and (E) Hitler Youth dagger. (A) SA dagger with a "RZM, M7/81/38" marked blade. Blade has cross graining, with moderate runner and scattered marks, and light freckling and staining on 80%. Blade appears to have been polished and cleaned. The SA motto of "Alles fur Deutschland" is present on the blade, which is also slightly loose. Nickel plated fittings are very good, with bubbling and missing finish over 30-35%. The rosewood grip has a couple of dings. SA emblem with light wear, and eagle are original to the grip and in very good condition. Scabbard is painted black and retains approximately 20-25% of its finish, with freckling in the remaining areas. Nickel plated fittings retain approximately 90% of their finish, with scattered marks. CONDITION: Overall good condition. (B) Luftwaffe gravity knife. Standard issue gravity knife to both Luftwaffe aircrew and Fallschirmjaeger, with a "Paul Weyersberg, Solingen" and "ROSTFREI" marked stainless blade. Blade has been badly sharpened, with marks throughout. Side spring is undamaged and knife still functions properly. Wooden grips are very dry with several dings and a crack near the hook. Spike is loose and has the proper "LuftAmp" stamp. CONDITION: Overall very good. (C) Dress bayonet with a "Eickhorn, Solingen" marked blade with light runner and scattered marks in excellent plus condition. Blade is slightly loose. Grips are excellent, and nickel plated fittings have patina throughout. Scabbard retains 85-90% of its original black painted finish, with areas of freckling and dullness. Correct black leather dress frog is attached, as well as a portepee. CONDITION: Excellent plus. (D) Dress bayonet with a "WKC" marked blade with a partial false edge on the top. Blade has with light runner and scattered marks in excellent plus condition. Grips are excellent, and nickel plated fittings are dull with light freckling and patina. Scabbard retains 75-80% of its original black painted finish, with areas of freckling. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. (E) Hitler Youth with a "A.W. JR" marked blade with the remaining motto etching being very faint. Blade has light freckling and staining throughout, and is in good condition. Grips are dirty and the front panel is cracked below the rivet, and the opposite side has a gap between the grip and the handle. Nickel plated steel fittings are dull with freckling to approximately 50% of the plating. Scabbard has a German name etched in the black finish on the back, and overall retains less than 50% of its black painted finish. Leather hanger is intact. CONDITION: Overall good. WZ
