Lot consists of: (A) Cased World War I period US Navy officer's full dress hat, belt and epaulette set by N.S. Meyer, New York. All items are in good condition with bright gold untarnished bullion thread and tape overall. Carrying case is missing leather retaining straps. (B) Cased World War I US Navy officer's full dress hat, epaulettes, and ten buttons by Hilborn Hamburger of New York. Hat shows some period age rubbing to the edges of the beaver felt, but is solid overall. Epaulettes are beautiful with bright gold bullion, silver bullion anchors and gold bullion ensign's bars. Case is in rough condition. (C) Cased World War I period US Navy officer's full dress hat and epaulette set by Men's Uniform Co. Hat and epaulettes are in excellent condition with bright tape and silver and gold bullion ensign's bars. Carrying case shows wear, but is solid. (D) Cased World War I period US Navy officer's full dress hat, belt and epaulette set by N.S. Meyer, New York. All items are excellent except the belt which has grown stiff with age. Nice metal case with hinged platforms that raise up so you can access the epaulettes and hat easier. CONDITION: Good overall. BM
