Made in 1972 and finished in the Colt Electroless nickel. This finish was highly susceptible to finish wear, toning and discoloration. CONDITION: This example has a golden hue with just some surface marks from handling with a take down line. The color remains true. This gun is also fairly scarce in the 9mm caliber. The grips are the textured smooth walnut with silver Colt medallions. The two piece box is period but numbered to another gun. A fine condition original gun that is hard to find with this original finish intact without major blemishes. DB
