High condition 1961 vintage Winchester Model 12 slide action shotgun with 30" ventilated rib barrel. 12-gauge, full choke, 2 - 3/4" chamber. Original checkered forearm. Buttstock has been replaced with a beautiful highly figured walnut, finely hand checkered with ribbons, high comb with an Old English black rubber recoil pad. 14 - 1/4" length of pull. Custom grip cap appears to have been fashioned from same wood as the stock, held in place with a wood dowel. CONDITION: Excellent plus with 95-98% blue remaining. Wood is excellent showing little to no wear. Checkering is sharp and crisp. Action is crisp and locks up tight.
