Cheese box style canteen retaining most of its original deep green paint with the letters "S.I" within a sunburst. The canteen overall is in superb untouched condition, 7" diameter and 2-3/8" deep. Retains the three leather sling loops. Choice example. CONDITION: Untouched, with minor paint losses. PROVENANCE: Purchased from William H. Guthman. CORRECTION: Photo for this lot is incorrect. Description is correct.
