The table has a rectangular frame with turret ends with a central drawer of the skirt. Boldy carved gadrooning on the front and sides over four carved acanthus leaf cabriole legs. Fine Philadelphia style ball and claw feet. CONDITION: At one time the table was painted. Three small areas of gadrooning replaced. Patches to top where second generation hinges were added (now removed). A piece of the upper skirt above the drawer has been replaced. Additional patch to the top at proper left rear. A very rare survivor of outstanding form. PROVENANCE: Joe Kindig Antiques.
