Exceptional Swiss manufactured Solothurn S-18-1000 Anti-Tank gun with visible numbers all matching including receiver, barrel, bolt, and bipod. One original magazine is included with this gun. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent original lustrous blue finish with some slight thinning of finish to the barrel and some spots starting to discolor. Rest of gun has near excellent original lustrous blue finish. Mechanics are crisp. Bore is near excellent shiny and bright. Bolt is in the white also near excellent condition. Optics are clear. Rubber of eye cup and cocking handle are near excellent with rubber handle of cocking crank supple but starting to crack. Rubber of shoulder stock fine. There is a lot of magazines for this weapon being offered as a separate lot in this same auction. The S-18-1000 is the Cadillac of the World War II 20mm Anti-Tank weapons. Well documented in photos as used by the Germans on the Eastern Front during World War II.
