Lot consists of: first, Rookwood vase has green grape cluster and leaves descending from the lip on the front of the vase against a lightly mottled purple background. Signed on the underside with Rookwood flame mark dating the vase to 1900; second, Rookwood vase has butterflies surrounding the shoulder on the front of the vase against a pink shading to cream shading to blue background. Signed on the underside with Rookwood flame mark dating the vase to 1929. It also carries the artist mark Kataro Shirayamadani; third, Rookwood vase has peacock feather decoration descending from the lip. The decoration is done in red with black and grey peacock eyes, all against a red background. Signed on the underside with Rookwood flame mark dating the vase to 1900. Vase is also signed with artist mark for Sallie Toohey; fourth, Rookwood vase has four pansies with stems and leaves, decorating the front of the vase against a cream, shading to pink, shading to blue background. Signed on the underside with Rookwood flame mark, dating the vase to 1899. Also carries the artist mark for Sara Sax; and fifth, Rookwood mug has a portrait of a young black boy wearing a slouch hat set against a tan shading to brown background. The mug is signed on the underside with Rookwood flame mark dating the piece to 1901. Mug also has artist's mark for Grace Young. CONDITION: Peacock feather vase has some scratches to the side and a few bubbles in the glaze, otherwise lot is very good to excellent.
