The 56.6cm blade with active choji midare hamon and yakidashi. Ubu nakago with tsuchikae yasuri mae and well cut two character signature, likely authentic. Lovely two piece gold foil habaki. Bushu style tsuba with gold highlights and priest in a forest. Mismatched fuchikashura of shakudo. Good quality horse menuki. Very attractive and high quality kozuka with shakudo nanako and panel featuring a tiger with gold highlights. Handachi style mounted saya with silver kojiri. Horn korikata in extremely attractive gold and black lacquer saya. CONDITION: Blade in almost full polish with one significant kizu in the shinogi ji. Blade itself the ha with mokume hada and no significant shintetsu and most attractive hamon. Scabbard with one significant loss measuring 8cm on edge and one fitting from the handachi mount missing. A very attractive shinto signed wakizashi. MZ
