Meiji Period. Japan. Two women, each posed with a parasol in nicely decorated robes, one with ink-heightened decorations. The third figure, a well-carved mother with child on her shoulder, a cluster of lotus flowers in her left hand, posed on rockwork surrounded by plants. Size: 5 - 1/2" T., 5 - 1/2" T., 9 -3/4" T., respectively. Condition: All with mellow patina and in very good overall condition. Note that the parasol on one of the smaller figures needs reattaching.
