Meiji Period. Japan. Group consists of: two ivory figures of women with colorful robes, each on a hardwood stand; two carved polychrome netsukes, one of a man carrying a basket, the second of a man carrying perhaps a fishing creel, a hawk perched on his right arm, also mounted on hardwood stands; the final example is a nice polychrome carving of iris set within an oval planter. Size: figures 7 - 1/2 to 8" T., netsukes 2 - 1/2" T. each, iris carving 5 - 1/2" T. Condition: Generally very good with strong color.
Condition: (Very Good).
