Standard 4" octagon barrel configuration. Two line Hartford address on barrel. Iron grip straps. Matching numbers. Made in 1861 and most certainly could have seen service on either side of the Civil War. CONDITION: Retains a pleasing patina overall with some very light pitting in a few areas. Grips are good with some wear and handling marks, some minor chips out along the bottom edges. Most of the Stagecoach cylinder scene remains. All markings are clear. Bore has sharp rifling with some very minor pitting. Fine mechanical function. GR
