Receiver was manufactured by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM). "1921" stamped over chamber. Metal components have been reblued, with the frame and barrel being a dark matte blue and the receiver displaying a glossy blue finish. Matching numbers include the frame, barrel, trigger sideplate, trigger, breechblock, and toggle link. Crown over "N" Nitro proof on left side of receiver and on forward toggle link, with a "GERMANY" export stamp on the right side. Rear of frame is marked "Kreighoff Suhl", which is partially worn away under finish. Checkered wood grips are poorly fit. CONDITION: Metal components retain ample amounts of reapplied blue finishes with minute areas of wear. Checkered wood grips have been mostly worn smooth and show indentations on either side. Bore shows cleaned areas of light pitting, but remains bright and retains strong rifling throughout. A fine refinished P.08 that would make for an fine example to bring to the range. MW
