German WWII Navy dagger with a "Originial Eickhorn, Solingen" double etched blade, with light runner, and scattered marks. Etching presents an anchor and chain, with scrolls above and below, and on both sides. Remainder of blade has light freckling and staining. Brass wire wrapped off-white trylon grip is undamaged and brass cross guard and pommel have heavy patina. Hammered brass scabbard has gilt remaining in the recesses, with black staining and heavy patina throughout. There are three half inch dents on one side, one in the middle and two near the tip. CONDITION: Very good to excellent overall.
