Features include short frame, round barrel, dovetailed inverted V front sight, two position adjustable 100-200 meter rear sight on rear toggle link, walnut checkered grips, and eight round detachable box magazine with wood bottom and concentric rings. The firing pin is unnumbered and unrelieved. "DWM" in scroll on the front toggle link with the crown M proofs on the left side of the receiver. 1917 above the chamber, left side of frame and on the left side of the front sight base. The extractor is marked "Geladen", safety is marked "Gesichert" in the upper position. Unit marked "S.W.I./22" on the rear grip strap. This marking could either be, Staff Guards, a small military police force to protect division or corps staff quarters in enemy country or Security Force, a term applied to "law and order" forces during the revolution of 1918-19. CONDITION: Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Two piece checkered walnut grips show minimal wear. Gun retains approximately 95% of the original rust blue finish. The straw color is 75%. it comes with a matching numbered magazine that has a aftermarket wood bottom in it. It also comes with another navy magazine that is correct for a Navy Luger and an aftermarket stock and holster rig. A hard to find Imperial Navy Luger. REW
