Lot consists of: (A) SS Runic Collar Tab, (B) SS "Handschar" Division Collar Tab, (C) SS "Estonian" Division Collar Tab, (D) Blank SS Rank Tab, (E) SS Edelweiss Sleeve Insignia, (F) SS Albanian Volunteer Shield, (G) SS Italian Volunteer Shield, (H) SS "Totenkopf" Division Collar Tab. (A) The SS Runic Collar Tab is made of a BEVO weave wrapped around a buckram backing. Tab shows light fraying to the corners and patina throughout. CONDITION: Excellent. (B) The SS "Handschar" Division Collar Tab is made of a black badge wool wrapped over a buckram backing, with the division's emblem machine embroidered in white cotton to the obverse. The tab exhibits light handling and patina throughout. CONDITION: Very good. (C) The "Estonian" SS Collar Tab is made of black badge cloth wrapped over a buckram backing, with the division's emblem machine embroidered to the obverse in a white cotton. The tab exhibits minimal wear. CONDITION: Near mint. (D) The Blank SS Rank Tab is made of black badge cloth wrapped over a buckram backing. The tab exhibits minimal wear. CONDITION: Excellent. (E) The SS Edelweiss Sleeve insignia is made of black badge cloth, with an embroidered edelweiss surrounded by a white circle. This insignia was worn by SS Gebirgsjäger troops. CONDITION: Near mint. (F) The SS Albanian Sleeve Shield is made of an embroidered badge cloth with no signs of wear. CONDITION: Near mint. (G) The SS Italian Sleeve Shield is made of a machine embroidered black badge cloth that shows no signs of wear. CONDITION: Near mint. (H) The SS "Totenkopf" Division Collar Tab is made of black badge cloth wrapped over a buckram backing, with a white cotton embroidered skull. The pattern of this tab is known as the "Pumpkinhead", and is usually associated with the insignia found at the Dachau concentration camp by liberating US Soldiers. CONDITION: Excellent. D.W.
