Manufactured by DWM in WWI. Receiver is stamped "1917" over the chamber with DWM proofs on the right, as well as "RC" Revision Commission stamps on the receiver, barrel, and trigger guard. German Imperial Reichsadler present on the receiver, barrel, and breechblock. Matching numbers include the frame, locking bolt, trigger sideplate, trigger, hold-open latch, barrel, receiver, breechblock, firing pin, extractor, forward and rear toggle links, and checkered walnut grips. Magazine is unnumbered. Complete with leather holster and reproduction leather patch stamped with the German Imperial Reichsadler. CONDITION: Metal components show wear and thinning all around, with the balance turning a gun metal gray patina. Strawed components retain minute areas of finish. Bright bore, showing areas of cleaned pitting and good rifling throughout. Checkered wood grips are good, showing minor wear and smoothing. Small chip on the left grip panel, just below the safety. Leather holster is in good condition, showing minor age cracking and wear. A nice World War I manufactured Luger to bring to the range. MW
