These are very difficult to find. Often referred to as the "submarine" or "U-boat model" due to their issuance on early German submarines. Solid brass construction. Crown/M marking on right side of frame. "F.L./ No 246" engraved on the butt. "F.L." standard for Fritz Langenhahn who produced this one. Single trigger which fired the left barrel first and then the right upon a subsequent pull. CONDITION: Brass retains a pleasing mellow patina with some dings and handling marks. Markings are clear. Wood grips are very good showing wear. Good mechanical function. GR
