Highly figured maple stock of classic Womelsdorf form with extensive incised and relief scrolls on both sides of the wrist, and classic Leonard Reedy scrolls behind the cheekpiece. Classic relief and incised scrolls designs around the barrel tang and on both sides of the ramrod entry ferrule. There are also relief panels around lock and sideplate. Complete with a replaced wooden ramrod. CONDITION: Barrel retains a heavy brown patina. Lock retains a brown patina and is in its original flintlock configuration. Brass retains and unpolished, dark patina. Silver inlays polished slightly. Stock shows some wear to carving and retains an orange hue.
