Manufactured 1879. Winchester Model 1873 First Model rifle with second pattern checkered thumbprint dust cover. Octagon barrel with full magazine and two piece walnut stocks. Blade front sight with late 1880's period elevator adjustable rear sight. CONDITION: Fair, lightly pitted overall with legible legends, dark bore and worn stocks with small chip at confluence of receiver and wrist, forearm is cracked and repaired. Action operates properly.
