Attractive Blackpowder Colt Single Action Army produced in 1891. Chambered for .45 Colt with 4 - 3/4" barrel with traditional two line barrel address and two line patent legend on left side of frame. Mounted with two piece hard rubber Colt eagle grips that are not numbered. Matching numbers observed on frame, trigger guard, and backstrap. Blue and case color finishes. CONDITION: Very good as found with a pleasant brown patina mixed with blue in very protected areas. The bore is dark in areas but with strong rifling. Chambers are very good. Trigger appears to be chipped or short internally as hammer rest forward slightly and should be attended to prior to actual use. Grips fit very well but are without numbers internally. Screws are fouled but very serviceable. Gun has a very honest and attractive look. TDW
