This match vending machine by Mills Novelty Co. has a very unique vending system. Each of the four columns move independently, so when a coin is placed and the knob pulled, one column moves back dispensing a box of matches, and on subsequent vends, the columns move in consecutive order. Wood case and cast-iron front, this example is in great original condition, with minor paint loss to the casting and original oak finish to the case. Fully operative and with keys. Referenced in "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, page 242.
