Although this vending machine screams Adams Tutti-Frutti gum on three porcelain panels, it was actually made by the Railway Automatic Sales Co. circa 1898. This example is in excellent original condition and hard to believe it was ever mounted on a subway platform in New York City, where most were used. The porcelain panels are original and untouched, the rivets that hold them in place have all the age of the machine. Aside from very minor flea bite chips along the edge, they are near mint. The wood case is in original finish and patina, the gum flavor windows on the front panel have original labels, and the mechanism has the perfect aged patina. Fully operational and with keys. Reference in "Silent Salesman Too" by Bill Enes, page 130.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
