Very rare cast-iron single column tab gum vending machine from the American Vending Machine Co. circa 1902. This machine sold Kis-Me gum and has a porcelain sign on the front advertising it. The sign has some minor chipping near the mounting holes. Very faint original green paint, original vending mechanism with a replaced handle, and cast back door. A very early vending machine and extremely rare. See elsewhere in the auction for the same machine advertising D-Lish-Us gum. Reference Silent Salesman Too by Bill Enes, page 15.
