Late 19th-century battery-operated cigar lighter with cutter. Quarter-sawn oak construction with a unique feature of having the original localized advertising, both on the marquee and on the faceplate. All of the advertising is from Dayton, Ohio; safe to assume the cutter was also from Dayton, Ohio. The lighter is spark-oriented. The main body would hold two dry-cell batteries. The handle of the lighter is where the fluid would go in. The lid to the fluid container is present. There is an original wick and batteries inside the battery compartment that are no longer active. The cigar cutter is in very good condition. The knife is there and the cutter operates as intended. A very early cigar lighter and cutter in just fantastic original condition.
Condition: (Excellent).
