1881 vintage. Civilian Single Action Army. Blue with case hardened frame and hammer. One piece varnished grips. 7 - 1/2" barrel with one line address "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. Co HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." Chambered in .45 LC. Matching serial number 66925 observed on frame, trigger guard, backstrap, and cylinder. CONDITION: Fine overall with approximately 10% original blue present on backstrap, balance of revolver is a clean gunmetal grey/soft brown patina. Grips are excellent with most original varnish showing modest wear. Action is tight and crisp. Locks up tight. Bore is fine with moderate abrasion. Overall a colorful clean black powder Single Action Revolver. -MKS-
