Smith & Wesson No. 3 Single Action Revolver chambered in .44 Russian. Top break frame. 6 - 1/2" barrel with integral full radius front blade sight, and cylinder retaining screw. "V" notch rear sight. Spur trigger guard. Two piece smooth walnut grips, rounded butt with lanyard swivel. Blue with case hardened hammer and trigger guard. CONDITION: Near fine with approximately 80% original blue with scattered freckling on barrel and frame. Cylinder is mostly a grey/brown patina. Grips are excellent showing modest wear. Slight traces of original case color on hammer. Trigger guard is mostly grey/brown patina. Replaced, incorrect cylinder retaining screw. Bore is excellent with minor abrasion. Action is tight and crisp. -MKS-
