Oliver Bidwell of Hartford, Connecticut 1808 Contract Musket with flint lock marked "O. BIDWELL MIDDLETOWN". Smoothbore musket type barrel with bayonet lug. Walnut wood stock with iron furniture and steel ramrod. CONDITION: Metal turning a plum patina with some light pitting. Appears to be original flint. Oil soaked musket stock with heavy usage marks and dings. Mechanically sound with pitted bore. DLM
