Nippes of Philadelphia manufactured flintlock with "Eagle / U.S.". Smoothbore barrel with bayonet lug and original steel ramrod. Walnut musket style 1808 stock with iron hardware and three barrel bands. CONDITION: Metal has been cleaned and exhibits pitting. Appears to be original flint. Stock is oil soaked and exhibits handling marks and dings. Good mechanics with dark pitted bore. DLM
