Lot consists of: (A) Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor rifle with breechblock dated 1878. "US / Springfield" marked lock. Graduated rear sight. Socket style bayonet lug. Walnut full musket stock. Comes with steel ramrod and original black leather sling. CONDITION: Metal fading to a grey patina. Oil soaked wood stock with usage dings and marks. Bore and action full of grease from storage. Good mechanics. (B) Roberts conversion of 1861/63 Springfield. Lever type breechblock. Springfield musket barrel with folding leaf rear sight. Walnut musket style stock. CONDITION: Metal parts fading to grey. Missing lock, ramrod and extractor. Oil soaked wood that has been cleaned. Good project. DLM
