Scarce James Warner pocket model revolver. .31 caliber percussion 6-shot cylinder. 3" round barrel. Scalloped silver plated iron frame. Blue barrel and cylinder with case hardened hammer, and loading lever. Two piece varnished walnut grips. Top of frame strap marked "JAMES WARNER SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A.". Housed in a walnut partition fitted case complete with correct powder flask, brass bullet starter, two cavity brass bullet mold, and percussion cap tin. CONDITION: Excellent overall with 97+% bright original blue on the barrel and cylinder. Traces of original case color on the loading lever and hammer, mixed with a "gun metal" grey patina. Approximately 85% original silver plating on frame, with flaking on the left side forward of cylinder and scattered freckling overall. Case is excellent with a couple cracks running the width of the lid. The red interior is clean however faded. Accessories are excellent. -MKS-
