Superb condition Colt M16A1 with telescoping buttstock, round handguards, and bird cage flash hider. Accessories include a mint 4 x 22 carrying handle mounted scope, one 30-round and one 15-round Colt magazine, one original factory sealed “bandoleer Pac” with 7 cardboards, 14 stripper clips and a bandoleer. An original factory sealed black web sling, original 1982 owner’s manual, and original factory cleaning kit with brushes, cleaning rod, break-free and green accessory bag. Barrel of gun is marked “C MP Chrome Bore”. Forward assist at right side of receiver with classic rampant Colt logo and markings on left side of magazine well. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is near mint original matte finish with gun remaining unfired with its original factory plastic bag and remnants of silver foil and brown paper wrapping. Unfortunately, no cardboard box present. Composite furnishings near excellent. Mechanics are crisp. Bore near excellent, shiny and bright. Bolt also near excellent. This is a select-fire machine gun. A nice compact M16A1. Great investment level gun for the modern military enthusiast with an appreciation for a modern American classic great machine gun.
