Developed by Schmeisser and marketed by Bergman these unique pistols used proprietary cartridges and are at the forefront of self loading handgun development. Serial number 1377 with matching numbers including grips. Rust blue finish with straw finished hammer and trigger and fire blue safety. U crown proofs on barrel and receiver. Manufacturer's crest "V.C.S. GAGGENAU, SUHL" on right side of frame. Later variation with extractor for cartridges. Drift adjustable blade front sight with fixed integral rear sight. CONDITION: Very fine with over 95% of the original rust blue finish remaining thinning of grip straps and with edge wear. Straw finish very good with high point wear. Bore is excellent, bright and sharp. Grips are very good with sharp checkering and without distress. Action operates properly smoothly. A very fine example recently discovered and not previously offered for sale. TDW
