Model 1902 Grandpa Nambu caliber 8mm Nambu with telescoping holster/stock. Manufactured at the Tokyo Arsenal Kayoba Factory LTD. Slide adjustable rear sight graduated from 100 to 500 meters. Drift adjustable blade front sight. 4.7" round barrel. Checkered two piece walnut grips with 8 round detachable magazine with checkered wood base. Serial number 719 is found on frame, barrel, locking block, bolt, trigger assembly, and cocking piece. Magazine is not numbered. Stock is a contemporary replacement made of Asian indigenous wood with blue steel mounting hardware and has been numbered to match pistol. CONDITION: Good as completely restored with application of new finish and addition of contemporary grips magazine base and stock. Pitting is visible under the newer finish but all markings are legible and discernible. A import marking is found on the frame under the left grip from Federal Ordnance, El Monte Ca. Bore is dark with visible rifling. Action functions properly under manual inspection. Stock is rather crude as made but is extremely scarce in any configuration. Magazine is restored with newer wood base and housing is slightly pitted but functional. One of the rarest of all military handguns in any condition. TDW
