Lot consists of (A) Frank Wesson Sporting rifle made circa 1870. Blued full octagon rifled barrel with blade front sight and notched rear adjustable sight and slotted cartridge extractor. Case hardened frame with Wesson two trigger, one for opening gun and one for firing. Walnut buttstock with iron crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Missing knob on cartridge extractor. Blue turning brown with corners worn silver. Frame turning brown. Wood has traces of varnish with some light scratches and dings. Trigger mechanism is broken and needs repair along with extractor knob. Good bore. (B) Frank Wesson Military carbine with blued octagon barrel with blade front sight and rear flip sight. Case hardened frame with nickeled trigger guard with two triggers. Walnut stock with iron nickeled buttplate and sling swivels. CONDITION: 50% original blue turning a shade of brown. Case turning plum with good nickel finish on triggerguard and flaking on buttplate. Good mechanics and bore. DLM
