Model 1911A1 semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Remington Rand Inc. Syracuse, New York in 1945. Parkerized slide with Remington Rand address on left side and "P" proof in front of rear sight. Correct sights. Parkerized frame with "FJA" inspector's mark on left and "Crossed Cannons"," United States Property" and "M1911A1 U.S. Army" above serial number. Remington Rand mainspring housing with lanyard loop. "HS" marked barrel. Correct Remington Rand hammer safety catch and slide stop. Plastic checkered grips marked with "K" and star. Comes with "M.S. Little" marked clip. CONDITION: 70% fading arsenal finish with corners wearing to a silvery patina. Guide rod for spring has silicon buffer. Grips have handling wear with no breaks or cracks. Original clip. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
