Made after World War II by Walther. This particular one is dated "11/64" on the right side of the slide. Of interesting note, this is also marked "BMI" for Bundesministerium des Innern which is the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs in charge of the police units. Matching numbers on the slide, barrel and wood case. Good ink stamp on the inside of the lid along with the parts list. Well marked on the top of the case "Einstecksystem/ P38Kal.5,6mm". CONDITION: Very fine with minor handling marks. All markings are clear. Bore is excellent, bright shiny and clean with sharp rifling. Both magazines have strong spring tension. GR
