Lot consists of: (A) 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Carbine with illegible marking on breechblock. Lock marked "U.S. Springfield" with Eagle. "C" marked sight with blade front. Sling swivel on trigger guard and front band. Walnut stock with "U.S." marked no trap buttplate and no sling bar. CONDITION: Overall poor with gun being made to look like original carbine. Shootable bore and good mechanics. (B) Thompson Center "Hawken Cougar" percussion rifle with blued octagon barrel with adjustable sights. Grey metal percussion lock with double set triggers. Fancy grained walnut stock with grey metal finished hardware. "Hawken Cougar" medallion in stock. Hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Like new possibly unfired with light handling marks. Good bore and mechanics. From the Carl Balderson Jr. Estate Collection. DLM
