Barrel made without sights and smooth top rib. Offset proofs at breech comprising "(Crown) / CP" / "R & W" / "(Crown) / V". Lock indistinctly signed Ryan and Watson in center. Swan neck cock lightly engraved with florals. Roller bearing frizzen. English push on safety, broken at lip. Sideplate with a stand of arms. Slabside grip. Brass tipped ramrod, likely the original, retained by a single reinforced ferrule. Brass trigger guard with an acorn finial. CONDITION: Very good. Metal is dove grey throughout, lock signature is somewhat softened, and appears to have been gently cleaned at one point. Barrel with some freckling. Wood is very good with the usual bumps, bruises, and minor chips, acquired over time, and appears to have been gently cleaned and revarnished at one point. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with smooth oxidation. EW
