1920 vintage 1885 Musket, serial number 121609. Low wall/thin side frame with 27" round barrel. Chambered in .25-20 WCF. Lyman No. 45 receiver sight with windage adjustment. Plain straight grain walnut stock and full length forearm with finger groove. Carbine style steel buttplate. Sling swivels mounted to barrel band, and stock. CONDITION: Fine overall with 93-95% bright original blue on barrel with scattered freckling. 5-8% original blue on receiver, balance turned to patina with scattered areas of corrosion. Wood is excellent, showing minimum wear. Bore is bright. Action tight and crisp. -MKS-
