Manufactured in 1911 under contract for the U.S. Army. Colt two line address on top of the barrel. Colt D.A. 45 on the left of barrel. "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". R.A.C. on the bottom of the barrel. "U.S. / ARMY / MODEL / 1909" on the bottom of the grip frame. Lanyard loop at the bottom of the grip frame. CONDITION: Gun shows some light pitting across both sides of the frame. Gun has been completely reblued. Two piece wood grips are numbered to the gun. They have been cleaned a bit. Fair bore with some pitting in the lands and grooves. Action functions in both single and double. Locks up tight and indexes fine. REW
