Manufactured 1944. Springfield M1D Sniper rifle with accessories in shipping box from Civilian Marksmanship program. Barrel marked SA 7-51 and arsenal fitted with M84 Telescopic sight with post and cross wire reticle. Stock is fitted with leather military cheek rest marked MRT 2-51 and has detachable M2 flash hider fitted to muzzle. Circle "P" proof at pistol grip and Springfield cartouche on butt under cheek rest. Fitted with cotton M1 web sling. Rifle comes with shipping box from CMP and inventory sheet serial numbered to rifle. Paperwork indicates rifle was sold 12/16/98. A small inspection tag is attached to trigger guard from being inspected at Camp Perry Ohio National matches in 2014. CONDITION: Excellent, most all military parkerized finish remains with very slight storage wear. Scope is crystal clear and properly adjust. Stocks are very good with several minor scratches. Bore is as new and shows no use. Action operates properly. A very attractive and correct M1D sniper rifle. TDW
