Absolutely beautiful Dixie Gun Works reproductions Model 1879 Gatling gun in .45-70 with Bruce feed system and one magazine. Stands just under 46” high without magazine in place. Overall length of gun from muzzle to casabel is just under 43”. Includes one original Bruce feed magazine, and custom wooden crate which greatly eases transport and storage. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent original factory bright brass casing with barrels “in the white”. Frame siderails are lustrous blue. Traverse and elevation handles have near excellent factory finish. Mechanics are crisp and positive. Each of the barrels and bolts were examined and all the bolts are functional with good firing pins. The 32” long barrels are all extremely fine with clean strong rifling. Just a great presenting reproduction Gatling gun which will transfer as a modern rifle. JWK 2019-10-099.
