Made out of an old barrel and stock and a later manufactured lock. Diminutive blade front sight, barrel extensively inlaid with silver decorations of florals and geometrics. Contemporary lock with brass wheel cover and engraved with line decoration. Trigger guard with folding extension. Faceted buttcap with line engraving. Stock inlaid with bone and brass wire in floral patterns. Nosecap and bone tipped ramrod, likely the original, decorated en suite. CONDITION: Good. Barrel has been cleaned over some old oxidation, some of the silver decoration has begun to lift. Lock and trigger guard has been cleaned over oxidation. Buttcap has been cleaned and engraving softened as a result. Stock is old but has been refreshed and had several of the inlays replaced, with scattered bumps and bruises. Right side of the stock has extensive spiderweb cracking. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand (no spanner included), bore is excellent with smooth oxidation throughout. EW
