Produced in France in the early 1890s. A wonderfully preserved single shot Flobert pistol utilizing a iron frame configured to be used as fighting knuckles. Housed in the original wood box complete with exterior and interior labels. Knuckle gun is marked "LE CENTENAIRE" with patent dates and address of Strasboug. Chambered for the 5mm Flobert cartridge with manual trigger. Nickel finished overall. Box has most all of top label with full description and showing the period printed price of 12 Francs. Interior label shows properly loading and use instructions. CONDITION: Very good and functioning. The bore is dark but serviceable the frame retains over 80% original nickel with edges flaked. The box is fair with a minor crush on lid with label being very discernible and legible. Interior is very good with crisp labels and fine partitions. Lower exterior corners suffer from minor distress but are solid. TDW
