Designed in Sweden as the MP-9 by Interdynamic AB, the MP-9 was designed as an economical submachine gun based off of Carl Gustaf's popular M/45 for military usage. After not finding a government buyer, Interdynamic AB moved its sales and production to the United States to try and appeal to the American commercial gun market. Here they produced the TEC-9 and its variations from the 1985-2001. This TEC-9 features a 5" barrel, an Intratec foregrip, and a B&G Machine full-auto bolt. Additionally, there is an AWC MK 9 suppressor that is included with this TEC-9 that does not fit. This can be remedied by fitting the suppressor with an adapter that's threads fit on the barrel of this TEC-9. The left side of the receiver is marked "INTRATEC/ MIAMI FLA./ 9 MM LUGER/ MOD. TEC-9/ PATENTS PENDING". This example is complete with its original Intratec factory box, manual, and one magazine. CONDITION: Receiver and barrel retain 90+% of factory applied finish, show minor areas of wear from handling and use. B&G Machine full-auto bolt is very good, showing evidence of firing. Fine bright bore, with strong rifling throughout. Polymer frame is in excellent condition, showing little wear. Front grip shows minor nicks and minor cosmetic wear. Suppressor is in excellent condition, showing evidence of firing residue. Original factory box is good, showing usual wear and a spot of light water damage on the lid. Overall, a very nice example of an Intratec TEC-9. The registered bolt in this gun can be moved from host gun to host gun making it a highly desirable Class 3 item!
