Lot consists of: (A) Inland Marine M1 Carbine with aftermarket "Paratroper" style stock. Made in the fall of 1944. Barrel marked " INLAND MFG DIV/ GENERAL MOTORS/1-44". Small import mark found under the barrel. Post war Type III bayonet lug, marked "MMQ". Standard products Type II rear sight. IBM production Type IV rear sight. Type IV Inland produced slide. Winchester marked Type II bolt. Most of the metal parts retain their parkerized military finish. Reproduction "M1 Paratrooper" style hardwood folding stock, hand guard and sling. Includes an East German AK-47 pouch with 15 various M1 carbine magazines. Magazines breakdown as follows: One Winchester (IW) marked 15 round magazine, one Union Hardware (U) marked 15 round magazine, one Inland (AI) marked 15 round, two International Silver Marked (IS) marked 15 round magazines, one Seymour Products (SEY) 30 round magazine, three "M2" marked 30 round magazines and six un-marked 30 round magazines. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with light wear and handling marks. Stock has no finish and is in very good condition with light handling marks. Front band screw is stripped and will need replaced. Crisp rifling in the bore. Mechanically fine. Magazines vary from excellent to fair with some light surface rust on a few. Pouch is excellent. (B) Iver Johnson US Carbine with scope and three original magazines. Made by Erma in Germany in the 1960's before being imported by Iver Johnson. Marked "IVER JOHNSON ARMS. JACKSONVILLE AR" on the barrel, and "Made in W. Germany" on the receiver. Standard round steel barrel and fixed post front sight. Rear sight has been removed to make room for the scope. Blued steel finish on the metal parts with an oil finished hardwood stock and added rubber butt pad. Includes three original metal magazines, USGI style sling and oilier, as well as an attached Bushnell Sportview 4-32 scope. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with mild wear and handling marks. Stock is good overall with some areas of wear and handling marks. Sharp rifling in the bore. Mechanically fine. Magazines are excellent. Scope is foggy, sling is very good. (C) Underwood M1 Carbine. Receiver made in early 1944. Underwood barrel dated "6-44" with typically "flaming ball' ordnance mark. Inland Type III band with bayonet lug. Type II Underwood (EU) front sight and an Inland (S) Type I flip rear sight. Inland (AI) marked Type II bolt and Underwood marked Type II slide. Standard Products marked "BE-B", Type IV trigger housing and an Underwood (WU) marked hammer. Metal parts retain their military parkerized finish. Hand guard is Saginaw marked, oil finished hardwood stock is un-marked. Includes a Union Hardwood marked 15 round magazine, USGI sling and oilier Sling is marked "MRT", date is illegible. CONDITION: Metal retains 80% of its original finish with mild wear and handling marks. Stock is very good with mild wear and handling marks. Sharp rifling in the bore. Mechanically fine. Magazine and sling are very good. JWA
