Stevens Model 44 single shot rifle. 25" round barrel, chambered in .22 Long Rifle. Blue with case hardened frame. Non-original blade front and buckhorn rear barrel sights. Correct Stevens tang sight. 2 piece plain, straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Rifle style crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent overall with 90% original thinning blue on barrel. 85+% original case color on frame. Wood is excellent, showing modest wear with a couple dents on left side at the wrist. Bore is bright, action is tight. -MKS-
