Manufactured 1918 with half moon front sight, U notch beveled rear sight, "MODEL OF 1911 U.S. ARMY" on right side slide, left side with two line two block patent and Colt information with intercepting pony. "H" at top of firing pin retaining plate channel. Barrel with P proof on left side lug, HS on right side. Left side only safety, spurred hammer, short 1911 grip safety, smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard loop, long curved trigger. Checkered small parts. Top of bridle with "M" and "G", "8" on slide rails, "32" on trigger guard, eagle proof on left side frame. Truncated diamond grips. Two tone magazine with two rivet base. CONDITION: Very good as refinished. Left side of slide with significant wear at high points. A few scattered areas of old oxidation are visible and some minor pitting is visible under the newer finish. Some silvering at reciprocating areas. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is very good with strong rifling and some frosting. EW
